MARUTSU DEMPA started off in 1947 as a vendor of light bulb in Fukui. Then, we launched a retail business of electric parts. In the 1950s, when the home electronics boom started, we sold washing machines, refrigerators, and black-and-white TVs. In 1967, we launched a business of telecommunications. This is the present Tokki Department. As 1990s began, due to the relaxing of Act on Large-scale Retail Stores, we had to withdraw from the home electronics sales. We are where we are by starting new businesses of the sale of mobile phones and operating a electronic component store at the same time as well as setting up an online shop for products such as hybrid fans. 70 years have passed since our establishment. MARUTSU DEMPA have been contributing to the local community while changing forms as the times change.
