Our support activities for "The 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake"

■Introduction
Devastating earthquakes level 7 struck Kumamoto Pref. and surrounding area on April 14 and 16, 2016.　The aftershocks are continuing even now.
JMA: Japan Meteorological Agency termed this big earthquakes "The 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake" on April 15.

■Our support activities for "The 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake"
We received offer from Ministry of Land, Infrastracture and Transport, and immediately went to Kumamoto to support there.　We carried out support activities as below smoothly and quickly.
1. Secure communications network using satellite communications car of Fukui office of river,
　 and collect and transmit information
2. Provide videos taken by helicopter of Ministry of Land, Infrastracture and Transport to headquarters
　 for disaster control
3. Distribute video of entrance of headquarters for disaster control that we took to Ministry and agency

■Damage situation
We were sent Minamiaso village office (headquarters for disaster control) to support them.
A massive landslide hit the village with a population of around 12,000, causing the 200-meter-long Aso Ohashi bridge to collapse and severing a major road.
A massive landslide killed some people and a person is missing there even now.
